Frame Grabbers - VxWorks

All of Active Silicon's frame grabbers are fully supported under VxWorks for both Intel and PowerPC processors. For specialist applications, such as DMAing to custom memory elsewhere in the system, we offer a full integration service and custom driver development to provide an optimized VxWorks driver for custom applications. Typically custom driver development is usually only a couple of weeks work modifying our standard VxWorks driver. We have many customers using VxWorks with our frame grabbers, with applications from industrial automation, aviation and defense to a prestigious space application due for launch in 2006.

LFG Series - Frame Grabber
The LFG series is a low cost high quality composite/S-Video and monochrome frame grabber. Supported under a range of operating systems including VxWorks and available in a variety of form factors (PCI, PMC, PC/104-Plus & cPCI). The SDK also includes royalty free optimized JPEG and wavelet codecs.

Phoenix Series - Frame Grabber
The powerful Phoenix series has support for LVDS and Camera Link compatible cameras. Supported under a range of operating systems including VxWorks and available in a variety of form factors (PCI 64-bit/66MHz, PCI 32-bit/33MHz, PMC, PC/104-Plus & cPCI).

Snapper Series - Frame Grabber
The well established Snapper series incorporates both analog and LVDS/RS-422 capture. Supported under several operating systems including VxWorks with PCI support for both PC and Mac along with PMC products for VME based systems.
